When is an Islamic terrorist not an Islamic terrorist? It’s when a U.S. Government official (including George Bush), uses Newspeak to talk about al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups without mentioning them by their name, Islamic terrorists.

Bush followed the politically correct line during his State of the Union speech when he referred to these groups as “terrorists and extremists–evil men who despise freedom, despise America, and aim to subject millions to their violent rule.” No mention of Muslims or Islam.

But Bush has often used the word Islam in his praise for the religion:

“Islam is a faith that has made brothers and sisters of every race. It’s a faith based upon love, not hate.”

Why this official change in policy when discussing terrorism? American Muslims are afraid that non-Muslims will get the idea that all Muslims are terrorists. Therefore, American leaders who speak on the subject should use other terms to describe these miscreants. (After all, they are not the real Muslims and Islam, as we all know, is a peaceful religion.)

To alleviate the problem, a couple of documents were produced (For Official Use Only). In January of 2008 the National Counter-Terrorism Center (NCTC) Guidelines were published by the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL), U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The document, “Terminology to Define the Terrorists: Recommendations from American Muslims.” Example:

“Expert (Muslim) Recommendation 2”

“…when using the word (Islamic), it may be strategic to emphasize that many so-called “Islamic” terrorist groups twist and exploit the tenets of Islam to justify violence and to serve their own political aims.”

American Muslim leaders and scholars have also advised the U.S. Government (USG) on words to avoid when talking about Islamic terrorists, such as; jihadist, Islamic terrorist, Islamist, and holy warrior.

Another document, from the Counter Communications Center (March 14, 2008), offered this as a guide for using proper words when discussing Islamic terrorism: “Words that Work and Words that Don’t: A Guide for Counterterrorism Communication.”

Some examples:

  • “Don’t Invoke Islam: Although the al-Qaida network exploits religious sentiments and tries to use religion to justify its actions, we should treat it as an illegitimate political organization, both terrorist and criminal.”
  • “Don’t Harp on Muslim Identity: Avoid labeling everything ‘Muslim’ [especially if it’s Muslim]. “…Be specific (Egyptian, Pakistani) and descriptive (South Asian youth, Arab opinion leaders), where possible.”

(It doesn’t matter if they committed terrorist acts and they are all Muslims carrying out the mandates of Allah. Don’t call them Islamic terrorists).

The truth is that the Quran, Islam’s holy book, is used by both “moderates” and “radicals.” It’s the same book, containing the words of Allah and valid for all time. The only difference is that moderates, like moderates in any religion or organization, have a life to live and are minimal participants.

But the true believers, including clerics, will commit and support any acts, including violence, to defend and spread this theology of hatred and terror. Without them, Islam would perish. All Muslims look to the Quran and its author Muhammad for guidance. (Muslims believe Allah is the author, with Muhammad receiving Allah’s message from the angel Gabriel, which means you can’t reject any part of the Quran, no reformation).

There are a number of verses in the Quran with messages of love and peace for unbelievers, Jews, atheists and homosexuals. Here are Four. For more, visit Google:

  • Sura 8:12 “I shall instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers; Smite ye above their necks and smite their fingertips off.”
  • Sura 47:4 “Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers, strike off their heads…” (George. Where is the love?)
  • Sura 9:73 “”Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal vigorously with them. Hell shall be their home, an evil fate.”
  • Sura 9:123 “Believers, make war on the infidels around you. Deal firmly with them. Know that God is with the righteous.”

Muslim men are encouraged by the Hadiths (words and deeds of Muhammad) to emulate this perfect example of humanity.

Muhammad, according to the history of the prophet from original Islamic sources, is the role model for today’s terrorist. While in Medina, (Saudi Arabia) he had his Jewish critics assassinated, including a nursing mother. He also launched a jihad against the Jews of the area, implementing a successful population control program. After defeating one tribe in 627, he had his army behead all the men and boys of fighting age, about 900.

Muhammad then divided the property  among his army, including the women and children. The prophet chose Rayhana bint Zayd, a beautiful Jewish woman, to add to his collection. Her brother, husband, and father had just been beheaded by his  army of Allah. (See this blog, archives, July 16, 2007, “There is only one Islam: So be prepared”)

The late Aytollah Khomeini said: “Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is OBEYED in every country in the world… But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world… Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all!” (Islam Unveiled, Spencer)

An example from an al-Qaida training manual affirms this. The jihadists know that “…an Islamic government would never be established except by the bomb and the rifle. Islam does not coincide or make a truce with unbelief, but rather confronts it.” (This blog, archives, July 15, 2006, “Hiding the Truth about Islam”)

To those in power who are on board with this embarrassing attempt at psyops on the American citizen, it isn’t working. You would have to take away many more rights before you can control what people believe. Only then will you be able to put in place your version of the Ministry of Truth.
